From Classroom to Industry – Campus Placements at Shrimad Rajchandra Vidyapeeth Campus placements are vital in offering students a direct career path immediately after their courses. Shrimad Rajchandra Vidyapeeth recently organised its annual campus placement drive through which several reputed companies across sectors such as chemicals, pharmaceuticals and medical devices participated. These included Atul Ltd., Aarti Industries Ltd., Meril Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd., SCHOTT Poonawalla Pvt. Ltd., Alkem Laboratories Ltd., Themis Medicare Ltd., Swati Spentose Pvt. Ltd., S. Kant Healthcare Ltd. and more. Final semester students from M.Sc., PGDMLT and B.Sc. courses took part, undergoing selection through written tests and interviews conducted by the companies. Impressively, over 85% of the participating students received job offers, securing positions in production, R&D and quality control departments. Company representatives were impressed with the students’ performance. Shinu Kurian, HR Manager of Meril Life Sciences stated, “Shrimad Rajchandra Vidyapeeth is doing a very good job for students of this vicinity. We found students with very good fundamentals.” The college’s holistic approach, including industry visits, expert discussions, resume-making sessions, job-interview training, mock interviews and alumni engagement significantly aided in the success of the campus placement drive. The success of the placement drive underscores the college’s dedication to developing academically well-rounded students as well as preparing them for embracing successful career paths.
