Paryushan Mahaparva 2024 in Mumbai (Sat, 31 Aug – Sat, 7 Sep, 2024):

  • The crown jewel of Jain festivals, Paryushan Mahaparva will be celebrated on a grand scale at NSCI Dome, Worli in Mumbai from Sat, 31 Aug – Sat, 7 Sep, 2024.
  • The morning sessions will begin with joyous Snatra puja after which Pujya Gurudevshri will bless the devotees with pravachans based on the ‘Ajeev Adhikar’ of the sacred text Natak Samaysaar.
  • The evening sessions will begin with diverse elevating spiritual programmes like bhakti, meditation, Mahavir Jayanti celebrations, tales of transformation, cultural performances and more. They will be followed by Pujya Gurudevshri’s pravachans on ‘True Practice of Dharma’ based on Patrank 903 of Shrimad Rajchandra Vachanamrut.
  • As a part of the evening sessions, there will be a play based on the exemplary luminaries of Jainism, titled ‘Glory of Jainism’; a grand musical titled, ‘Legacy of Greatness’ will also be performed by the children of Shrimad Rajchandra Divinetouch.
  • Timings during Paryushan Mahaparva will be as follows:
    • Morning: 7:30 am – 10:00 am; Entry starts at 6:30 am
    • Evening: 7:30 pm – 10:00 pm; Entry starts at 6:30 pm
  • A special workshop for children named ‘I Love Paryushan’ will be conducted for children of the age group 6-16 years. This will be on Sat, 31 Aug, 2024 (for ages 6-11 years) and Sun, 1 Sep, 2024 (for ages 12 -16) from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
  • ‘I Love Paryushan’ is an immersive and educational workshop designed to help children understand and appreciate the significance of Paryushan, fostering a deep connection with their heritage through interactive activities, games, stories and discussions.

  • On Sat, 7 Sep, the pious day of Samvatsari, in addition to Snatra Puja and Pravachan, there will be Samvatsarik Alochana held in the afternoon. Timings for the Samvatsari day will be:
    • Morning: 9:30 am – 12:00 pm
    • Evening: 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm
  • A special Gruh Mandir setup will be done in the NSCI Dome for all 8 days of the Paryushan Mahaparva so that seekers may take laabh of darshan and seva-puja of Jineshwar Bhagwan and evening arti.
  • An interactive exhibition showcasing the various spiritual and social activities of the Mission will also be arranged.
  • During this Paryushan we will also witness the grand launch of the first-ever flagship programme under SRMD Courses, titled: Holistic Wellness, a five-fold journey.
  • To facilitate smooth travel to and from the venue, special bus services have been arranged for both the morning and evening sessions:
    • Free bus service to and from NSCI Dome has been arranged for the nearest railway stations – Mahalakshmi, Mumbai Central, and Byculla.
    • AC Bus Shuttles at subsidised rates have been arranged as below:
      • For Central Suburbs: Mulund to NSCI Dome and return
      • For Western Suburbs: Dahisar Highway to NSCI Dome and return

  • Food packets at a subsidised rate will be available for morning and evening (chauvihar) meals during the first seven days of the Paryushan Mahaparva – Sat, 31 Aug – Fri, 6, Sep. For the Samvatsari (8th) day, the facility of a live buffet and seated ekasna has been arranged.
  • The meal coupons can be purchased through the Mission website or via the WhatsApp bot system – message “P” or “Paryushan” to +91 99200 58000 till 10:30 pm on the day previous to the meal.
  • There will also be a dining facility for mumukshus to consume food they may have brought from home.

  • Paryushan Mahaparva at Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram, Dharampur:
    • Mumukshus who wish to do Paryushan aradhana in Dharampur may reach the Ashram by Fri, 30 Aug and contact the registration counter. Registration is not required.
    • A relay of all the events that will be held at NSCI Dome has been arranged.
    • Swamivatsalya is arranged at the Ashram for all eight days of Paryushan Mahaparva.

  • The Power of One campaign is an unmissable opportunity to give while receiving in abundance. A movement that gives us a chance to declutter our homes, while opening our hearts.
  • You may donate clothes, food grains, metal-based utensils, footwear, electronic items, toys, blankets and more. To maintain the dignity of the recipients, please ensure that whatever you donate is in clean, wearable or working condition.
  • Please ensure that clothes and footwear are segregated based on gender and then donated.
  • Collections will take place from Thu, 1 Aug – to Sat, 7 Sep, 2024. Collection zones will also be set up at the Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care stall at NSCI throughout Paryushan Mahaparva.
  • Collection centres have been set up throughout Mumbai, across India and around the globe.

Philippines and Singapore Dharmayatra (Mon, 29 Jul – Tue, 6 Aug, 2024):

  • Pujya Gurudevshri will embark on the Philippines and Singapore Dharmayatra from Mon, 29 Jul – Tue, 6 Aug, 2024.
  • At Manila, there will be satsang and pratishthas and the inauguration of an entire village adopted by Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care, in the presence of the Master.
  • Throughout the Dharmayatra, there will be pravachans, bhakti, yoga, pratishthas, padhramanis and a residential retreat.
  • Pujya Gurudevshri will return to Mumbai on Tue, 6 Aug, 2024 at 1:40 pm at T2 of the Mumbai International Airport.
