A Sports Tournament Brings Villages Together As a part of the Consolidated Community Development programme, a Women’s Kabaddi tournament was held at the Dharampur Ashram’s Large Event Area Sports Complex. The event brought together players from 12 villages. The tournament aimed to empower women, promote kabaddi, and encourage health, fitness, and community bonding. Following a group stage and knockout format, teams competed passionately, with the team from Bilpudi village emerging as the champion and the one from Baroliya village as the runner-up. The winning and runner-up teams were presented with trophies. Participants also did darshan at the Jinmandir, enriching their experience of the Ashram. The event reinforced the values of teamwork and leadership, while promoting women’s sports and fostering a sense of inclusion.
