Shri Mahesh Patel, a philanthropist at heart, an influential African-born agripreneur, a BAPS devotee and a great leader. With over 40 years of experience, he founded the Export Trading Group, one of Africa’s largest agricultural conglomerates, operating in 48 countries. Mr. Bashir Haroon – who has dedicated his life to transforming healthcare in Africa and has played a role in capacity building between Indian medical professionals and those in Tanzania. Animal Hospital in Malad, Mumbai: With the boundless grace of Param Krupalu Dev & the visionary guidance of Pujya Gurudevshri, Shrimad Rajchandra Love & Care has been granted a parcel of land by the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai to build a new state-of-the-art animal hospital in the heart of Mumbai – Malad. An incredible facility spanning one lakh square feet – a full-fledged hospital for all kinds of animals – small and large. This state-of-the-art hospital with purpose-driven infrastructure will include: Animal treatment rooms, advanced operating theatres, 24/7 emergency department, diagnostic imaging, an ICU and critical care units. The hospital will be a model of urban animal healthcare, offering specialised services in cardiology, dermatology, radiology, ophthalmology and dentistry, along with general surgery, oncology, physiotherapy. It will also feature a cutting-edge in-house pathology laboratory and more. Two esteemed guests who had been instrumental in the landmark project were Bhushan Gagrani, the Municipal Commissioner at Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai and Shekhar Chore, the Deputy Municipal Commissioner at Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai. One of the most remarkable things is the display of faith and goodwill as the Municipal Corporation (BMC) has offered the parcel of land to the Mission for 30 years at no cost. This demonstrates their trust and belief that Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care will deliver the best in animal care for the needs of Mumbai. Starting from January 2025, one can take up the course in person at Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram Dharampur. And shortly thereafter at Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram USA and at various locations globally. Radhakrishnan & Pujya Gurudevshri As a part of SRLC’s Power of One, people from around the globe have been donating items like clothes, toys, food grains, technology and more. SRLC teamed up with NGOs for efficient distribution of these items to ensure that they reach beneficiaries most in need. The distribution of the Power of One campaign was launched on Samvatsari day in the presence of Hon’ble Governor of Maharashtra, Shri C.P. Radhakrishnan. Sai Aadhar Parivar will distribute foodgrains to the underprivileged tribal communities of Bhatane Village of Maharashtra. Out of the 169, 28 were children and 60 were youngsters. Animal Care: Animals Rescued from Slaughter On the pious occasion of Paryushan Mahaparva, 501 animals will be rescued from being slaughtered and will be provided protection at animal care homes. Paravartana of Paryushan Pravachans in the Ashram From Fri, 13 Sep, 2024, there will be daily paravartana of Ajiv Adhikar from Natak Samaysaar. This will be followed by an exam on Fri, 27 Sep, 2024. The paravartana of pravachans based on Patrank 903 – True Practice of Dharma, will be done in the Ashram during Pujya Gurudevshri’s Australia Dharmayatra.
