
Watermelon Nutmeg Kheer Shots

Ingredients (Serves 4):
- 4 cups milk
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup watermelon, seedless and diced
- ½ cup watermelon scoops
- 3 tbsp rice, boiled
- 2 tbsp nutmeg powder
- 2 tbsp pistachios, chopped
- 2 tbsp almonds (badam), chopped
- ½ tsp saffron strands (kesar)
Method
- Add milk, sugar and rice in a pan. Boil till the mixture thickens. Stir if necessary.
- Add nutmeg powder and saffron strands. Mix well.
- Cool this mixture to room temperature.
- Separately blend diced watermelon to form a smooth pulp.
- Add this pulp to the milk mixture. Mix well.
- Add watermelon scoops and the remaining ingredients. Stir well and serve chilled.
